The Defence Force provides major skill-building opportunities that allow you to develop personally and professionally. The experience you gain within the military is unique, building dynamic and specialised skills which are not often recognised outside of Defence roles. While you do not receive formalise qualifications or certificates upon discharge, these skills are of high value to civilian employers.
