COVID 19: Caring for your community
Our ioby community is full of helpers. Neighborhood leaders, unofficial mayors of the block, people like you who have always stepped up to do what’s right and to lend a hand. We’re here to support your urgent responses to the impacts of COVID-19 in Cincinnati. There are two things you can do on ioby right now to support your community: You can start a project on ioby, or check out a list of resources in Memphis that we've compiled to help you plan a project. We're also currently waiving fiscal sponsorship fees and our platform fee for projects that respond to COVID-19, wherever you are in the United States.
About ioby Memphis
We love Memphis. We love the Grizzlies and our rock ‘n’ roll, but most of all we love Memphians. Since we began our on-the-ground work, ioby Memphis has supported more than 300 resident leaders as they plan, crowdfund, and build positive change in neighborhoods across the city. With a median donation of $50, ioby leaders have raised over $906,000 in small donations to make Memphis neighborhoods greener, safer, more livable, and more full of opportunity for all residents.
Meet Chris Jones, Memphis Action Strategist!
As an ioby Memphis Action Strategist, Chris is working to help even more leaders like you in Memphis make positive change across the city. When you share your idea for positive change in your Memphis neighborhood, Chris will walk alongside you from building your crowdfunding campaign page, to making your first donation asks, to building your project.
A Memphis resident of over 20 years, Chris lives in Harbor Town. He’s thrilled to build on his years of experience as an employment attorney and leader in grassroots initiatives around education, art, and progressive politics.
Get to know more about Chris’ love for Memphis, including his passion for guitar, Memphis food, and the Grizzlies (of course!). Learn more about our City Action Strategists and how we work on-the-ground to support resident-led change.
