Pete Saudek, Cleveland Action Strategist
Pete is ioby’s Cleveland Action Strategist, where he partners with neighbors across Northeast Ohio to create positive and sustainable change throughout the region. He works with Clevelanders to connect them with the resources and tools they need to transform our communities, one project at a time.
Pete has been rooted in Northeast Ohio for the past 10 years as a community organizer, housing justice advocate, and musician, working with neighbors to generate community-based projects and campaigns across the city. He spent 4 years at the Fair Housing Center for Rights & Research combating the legacy of redlining and segregation in Cleveland and has spent the past few years supporting community-based initiatives surrounding youth empowerment, racial and environmental justice, and equitable vaccine access. He attended Oberlin College where he studied environmental justice and political science. Pete spends his spare time writing music, growing food, and walking in the woods.
