the project
Omar Higgins was a trailblazer, innovator and visionary behind two of Memphis most known bands Chinese Connection Dub Embassy and Negro Terror. After finally achieving great success Omar passed away suddenly on April 18th 2019 of septic shock in Memphis TN. We want to celebrate the legacy of Omar HIggins and all the sub genres of music he loved performing and cement his legacy with a Brass Note on the legendary Beale Street.
the steps
We will need to hire a graphic designer for an amazing flyer for the celebration and pay a house band with featured artist from all genres Omar loved performing.
why we're doing it
We want the work to go around social media and reach Omar fiends and family all around the world so they can look at April 18th as a day of celebration and not just sorrow when we think back on the legacy of Omar Higgins for years to come.
