About the project
Big Bad Wolf cultivates an environment for children that honors their natural curiosity, playfulness, and desire to interact and learn from the world. We believe that education is a life long process derived from self-chosen activities and the daily life experiences.
Natural building is an incredible way of building that has been practiced throughout the world for thousands of years. It emphasizes building with materials that are minimally processed, from the area, and non-toxic. Not only is it earth friendly, its human friendly. By nature it is kid friendly and allows for a collaborative, participatory building process.
This is an exciting opportunity that will bring students of big bad wolf, forest school, the surrounding community, and the earth to create a fun, lasting play environment that will bring joy and laughter for many years to come.

Why we‘re doing it
We believe in a society where all human beings, regardless of age, gender, race, abilities have the possibility to engage, interact and co-create with the earth and with each other. Building structures with your own hands is an incredibly empowering experience. When we do this together as a community, we begin to realize the potential we have to transform our surrounding.
