My name is Dylan Gluszek and I started this food drive 6 years ago as a freshman in high school and it has grown tremendously collecting over 50,000 lbs of food in the last 5 years! Our goal has always been simple; collect as much food as possible for the local community, and that is what we do every year. And that is what we will do this year with the help of you! 

the steps

We will take all food donations and bring them straight to local food pantries and people in need. Any money that gets donated will be used to buy more food, mostly food that we haven’t really been getting. We will also buy gift cards to food places to pass out to people in need. 

why we're doing it

This food drive runs because we care. We understand the need of food and while we are able to help we would like to!

ORIGINAL BUDGET

The Gluszek food drive aims to collect as much food as possibly to help support the local community. Many people are unable to bring food to the food drive so we like to collect money as well in order to buy food to give to people. While we do buy nonperishable to donate to food pantries we also buy gift cards for various food places to give directly to people, we buy fresh food to pass out, and we buy nonperishable food to give directly to people in need. We aim to help in any way we can with food!
