This groundbreaking multi-media presentation, hosted by Alvin Singh, Lead Belly's great nephew and lead archivist of the Lead Belly Archives, offers a truly immersive and enlightening experience for music enthusiasts and history lovers alike.

"The Midnight Special Experience:" brings together a curated collection of photographs, compelling stories, and an award-winning documentary film to offer an intimate look into the extraordinary life of this American music icon. As curator and digital media director of the House of Lead Belly archives, Alvin Singh has collaborated with renowned institutions such as Smithsonian Folkways, Grammy Museum, Songwriters Hall of Fame, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and numerous universities and museums to gather an impressive collection that showcases Lead Belly's journey through time.

At the heart of this experience is the captivating documentary, "Lead Belly: The Man Who Invented Rock & Roll." Through exclusive interviews with influential musicians like B.B. From his astonishing ability to sing his way out of prison to his induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Lead Belly's story is one of unwavering perseverance, resilience, and artistic brilliance. This documentary weaves together cultural history and personal anecdotes to shine a light on the man behind the legend and his timeless influence.
