Veteran PR pro with stints at Church Health and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital before founding his own publicity practice, Champion the Cause in 2021. Co-founded Coliseum Coalition and Friends of the Fairgrounds in an active, eight-year effort to save and reopen the Mid-South Coliseum, and to advocate for the equitable re-development of Memphis' Fairgrounds, now Liberty Park. Extensive nonprofit board experience including Caritas Village, Leadership Memphis, Recording Academy, and the Public Relations Society of America Memphis Chapter. Marvin teaches publicity through Momentum Nonprofit Partners. He and his wife Sarah have three children.
