About Us: My name is Lindsey Schell and I am a member of the Bethel Recreation Committee, located in Bethel, Vermont. The Recreation Committee is currently fundraising for phase II of the Bethel Skatepark, a project that will cost approximately $50K. This skatepark provides a free recreation opportunity to the community, allowing people of all ages and abilities to skateboard, roller skate, scooter, and/or BMX. We’ve already raised approximately $10K through grants, community donations, and other fundraising efforts. I would like to aim to fundraise $20K through ioby.
We Participate Because: It is important to support projects that help grow communities and expand the individuals within the communities. Ioby allows projects to come to life, that may not otherwise have support to be successful. Finally, Ioby helps to spread awareness about important projects - often, people want to help but don't know how. Ioby connects the dots and gives people and communities the ability to succeed in their vision, without limitations.
