- About Us
- Our group was formed about 2 1/2 years ago (Formerly known as the Maple, Crest, Wood and Parkhill Neighborhood) as a loose affiliation of neighbors. We are working to build community and make out little playground/park a welcoming space for all.All activities to date have been geared to strengthening the sense of community, involving more individuals in the neighborhood and sharing ideas around ways to implement improvements and activities including identifying potential partners and resources.
- We Participate Because
- To improve and preserve the physical environment of the area surrounding a closed school building which provides the only public green space within walking distance of our neighborhood. More importantly we are committed to using this space as a focal point to bring together a very diverse neighborhood to work and play together. By engaging all our neighbors we can foster greater understanding, connection and cooperation.
