Off the Mic is a Detroit-based organization whose purpose is to maintain the history of Detroit artistry by documenting the works of past and present creatives. In addition, OTM provides community engagement and artist development through paid and volunteer opportunities by way of youth programming, live performances and writing competitions. Lastly, OTM is committed to reinforcing the culture that makes up Detroit poetry through community building and networking opportunities.
