Our mission is to attain a source of food equality within the Quad Cities Area. The Gene Garden Project works towards this goal through the creation of community garden spaces where not only those that demonstrate a need for healthy food resources, but also the community as a whole may connect through this process. Additionally, The Gene Garden Project hopes to educate communities on the importance of food equality and how coming together to create resources such as community gardens is essential to this process. The education on growing and maintaining food sources will also be achieved through the process of developing said gardens.
