Video: 70 graffiti artists brighten North Memphis

Here’s another amazing project out of Memphis. Last summer, Karen Golightly raised  $2,635 on ioby  to fund the first-annual Paint Memphis, a weekend-long graffiti festival that brought 70 artists out from  Memphis and around the world.  The theme was “Revival,” and the place was a  North Memphis neighborhood that had, as one resident put it, “fallen through the cracks.”

The result?  A new 1/3 – mile landmark of vibrant color  and  North Memphis pride.
