We must make the difference

The pupose of this project is to build a computor lab for children with incarcerated parents. The children will be able to come to the lab and email, send pictures and corespond with their incarcerated parents and most importantly, have real time video visitations with the parent.

Once we have the funds for the project, we will secure the facility.  Purchase the computers and the office equipment. identify and connect with the children who have incarcerated parents.

One of the barriers that incarcerated children face is the inability to keep constant contact or communication with their parents. Most prisons are located far away in rural areas, which puts a strain on a family that might already be facing economic difficulties due to the parent being incarcerated in the first place. Our computer lab will help aid that problem and keep the child and the parent in ongoing communication and corespondence.
