the project

The COVID-19 pandemic has presented significant challenges for veterans, including exacerbating mental health and substance abuse issues. Because of the pandemic, a majority of veterans has seen their mental health worsened due to decrease access to mental health programs, but mostly due to decrease socially interaction. Working with the resilience program which is a program geared towards helping veterans cope with mental health issues, and conversing with Veterans really gives a good insight on how important of a role social interaction plays in improving mental health in Veterans.

This event will help provide a chance for Veterans to come out, socialize with other veterans and take part in a variety of whole health activities
