About the project
For more than 20 years, Arts Impact has brought learning to life through art for students of various backgrounds, abilities, and ages. Over the years, we've learned that the arts are not just a tool for our younger learners, but for lifelong learners too. In this stride, we have adapted our programming to provide unique and impactful professional development opportunities for educators.
That's why we are calling on our community to raise $5,850 to help us equip our studio space. Upgrading our furnishings will improve our capacity, allowing us to change the lives of even more students - and the professionals who serve them!
The Steps
Help us reach our goal to purchase new work tables and stools.
These will be utilized daily by our artist-educators as they develop lessons and prepare materials.
The space will also serve as a home base for our professional development sessions.
Why we‘re doing it
Our main partner, the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, serves students with the highest poverty rate of any major U.S. city. Many face severely limited access to the arts in their schools and neighborhoods.
We aim to eliminate this gap while exposing students to joyful and innovative learning. Arts-based education is powerful - it has been shown to increase students' academic achievement, self-confidence, and teamwork skills.
We've impacted the lives of over 40,000 students so far. Help us reach even more!
