UCAN of Memphis will host a Chili Cook-Off at the Memphis Made Brewing Company. It’s the perfect weather to bring friends and family together for warm chili all to benefit a worthy cause. Come out and taste the competition chili and vote for your favorite family recipe. Enjoy entertainment, family fun and dancing. Proceeds to help fund UCAN of Memphis anti-bullying program.

Marketing: delivered flyers, posted on social media, contacted news station, invited the community, sent info for online marketing and print.
why we're doing it
Every year 1 out of 4 students are bullied physically, emotionally, verbally or online. Approximately 160,000 studens will skip school becuse of bullying and 1 out of 5 students will seriously consider suicide. With school based bullying prevention programs like UCAN of Memphis, bullying can decrease by up to 25%. By bringing more awareness to the epidemic and raising money, we can provide comprehensive training, workshops, and assemblies for students and parents on bullying awareness, violence prevention adn social responsibilty.
What better way than to have a chili cook-off to bring the communtiy together.
