About the project
Even though we have reached our goal, please continue to give. Playground equipment - even small features - are very expensive ranging from $1000-$5000 each! The more we raise beyond our goal, the better we can make our beloved playground.
The Trinity (United Methodist Church) playground is a much-loved and much-used playground in the Evergreen Historic District neighborhood of Memphis, Tenn. Unfortunately, when Trinity preschool closed in 2011, the support and maintenance system in place for the playground, also went away. The playground has several pieces of broken equipment, and the equipment that does work, is in need of updating and/or maintenance. We would like to raise funds to repair the current equipment, as well as add new structures, to include play systems for older children.

May 2015 - ANF submits a menu of improvements to Friends of Trinity Playground and neighbors.

Why we‘re doing it
Though in disrepair, this playground is a popular gathering spot for children and families. We would like to make this playgound more appealing to our neighbors, including those with older children.
