About the project
When it comes to incrceration one of the ways to combat recidivism is family support and communication. Since Covid-19 the prisons in Ohio have eliminated all visitations between the inmate and their family and love ones for safety purposes.
Our project will combat this problem by creating a computer lab so that the family can conduct video visitations with their incarcerated love ones.
The Steps
Once the project is funded our team will construct the computer lab giving the family immediate access to the lab to start communicating with their incarcerated love ones.
Why we‘re doing it
We hope that this project will help strengthen the bond between the inmate and his/her love ones in a positive mannor and will ultimately set the stage to combatting recidivism.
