About the project
Partnering with local schools, rec centers and outdoor parks throughout Lorain County, we aspire tomorrow’s athletes to be recognized by others including peers, coaches, colleges, sponsors, and media. Nobody really knows who’s watching. With the recognition of our community efforts and our social media, we hope to find future hopefuls for high school, college, WNBA, or NBA.
The Steps
We plan to partner again with organizations in the county who has youth involvement. We also are planning talks with PTO clubs at schools to make visits during pep rally’s and more. Including the Boys and Girls Clubs of America
Why we‘re doing it
Our community in Lorain County benefits from this kind of community-based athletic and team building events. Upon arriving at the parks, the kids eyes are filled with hope. Knowing who I am and the opportunity I present. All of them show respect and manners while I’m present. I tell them what’s tolerated and the rules to compete. Most importantly they support each other while I’m there. Having kids off the streets for this short time of fun is promised safety for the community.
