The Steps

Our team by October 20, we will finalize and order the promotional materials to ensure their readiness by October 25. Simultaneously, on October 21, our event coordinators will connect with local small businesses, confirming their participation and providing them with event logistics. The POP Kids Club activities will get the green light on October 22, allowing us to book the entertainer and volunteer Master Composter and secure all necessary supplies by October 26. Our team will then conduct a walkthrough on October 27 to ensure all setups align with our vision, ensuring a seamless experience for our community on the event days.

Why we‘re doing it

Our project addresses both economic and social challenges within our neighborhoods. By supporting and highlighting small businesses at the Farmers Market, we assist local entrepreneurs in investing in the local economy by encouraging residents to shop locally. Furthermore, the POP Kids Club serves a dual purpose: fostering an appreciation for farm food and local produce among the younger generation and providing engaging, educational activities that strengthen community bonds. Our programming uplifts our neighbors, ensures a sustainable local economy, and creates an environment where businesses and families thrive together.
