The Shelby Farms Greenline is an 11.4 mile trail that runs from Cordova to Midtown Memphis via Shelby Farms Park. This project will fund the construction of a new access point helping residents on Summer Avenue and the Avon Neighborhood get to the Greenline safetly. We expect to be complete with Phase I of construction this Spring.

the steps

We are now under construction. This project is nearing completion.

Once built, Shelby Farms Park Conservancy will maintain the Perkins Access trail. SFPC is a non profit that runs of generous private donations from community members like you! Donations to help keep this trail clean, green and safe can be made at www.shelbyfarmspark.org/donate.

why we're doing it

Currently, there is a 2.5 mile stretch of the Shelby Farms Greenline between Waring and Podesta that does not have an access point. There are over 5,000 residents along this stretch that are limited in their options to access the Greenline and often deterred from using the great city treasure. We need your support to begin the process of adding a new access point.
