About the project
We're raising money to send one of our members to Bike!Bike!, an international gathering of community bike shops, cooperatives and collectives. Our entire co-op will be involved in raising funds through our donor networks and connections in the community. We will also be holding a fundraiser in our shop. We hope to raise enough money to cover the costs of round trip plane tickets to Guadalajara, Mexico, the site of this year's Bike!Bike!.
The Steps
We'll be contacting our networks and community partners to raise money and promoting our efforts online. We'll also be holding a fundraiser in our shop.
Why we‘re doing it
Bike!Bike! is an event where co-ops share information and strategy. It's a networking opportunity that is unmatched. We want to make sure that one our members can attend so that our community is represented and we can provide the best bicycle programs to the city of Alexandria.
