SAMHATI: Embracing Diversity, Sharing Love
**Welcome to SAMHATI, a Non-Profit Organization**
At SAMHATI, we're on a mission to foster inclusivity through vibrant social events that reflect the rich tapestry of India's diversity. Our gatherings, from festive celebrations like Christmas and New Year to laid-back picnics, create a sense of togetherness that transcends boundaries.
**DURGA PUJA: A Celebration of Unity**
Our flagship event, Durga Puja, stands as a beacon of inclusiveness, uniting Bengali communities worldwide. This grand celebration is a testament to our commitment to bridging cultures and fostering a spirit of unity.
**Sharing and Caring Principles**
SAMHATI is founded upon the principles of sharing and caring, where love flows freely between individuals and communities. We aspire to extend this warmth and inclusiveness to the wider NWA (Northwest Arkansas) community.
**Join Us in 2023: Durga Puja and Beyond**
In the year 2023, SAMHATI invites you to join us for our annual Durga Puja celebration, a three-day extravaganza from October 20 to 22. Our event lineup includes engaging cultural activities like kids' drawing competitions, captivating dance and singing performances for both kids and adults, and a mesmerizing artist performance from India.
Let's come together, celebrate diversity, and share the love that binds us all. SAMHATI welcomes you to be a part of our inclusive journey.

Why we‘re doing it
Most of the immigrants who merged into NWA area are from different demographic areas. A majority are from India and Bangladesh, who speak the language Bengali. Bengali is the 7th highest speaking language by population. The population is now reaching towards their middle age with a large age group with their next generation who do not have the exposure to Bengali culture and heritage. Samhati's effort is to provide a platform that enables the Bengali demographic population to pass on their cultural and heritage values through spirituality, dancing, drawing, singing, recitation towards their next generation.
In addition to that, Samhati focuses on providing the platform to diverse ethnicities from other parts of south-east ASIA to showcase their talent and how the shared values between different ethnicities tie up humans together.
We, from Samhati, would like our next generation to be cooperative, sensible, empathetic, respectful to others and these events enables to bring that value into the neighborhood and community.
