Safety First Contest is a contest designed for high school students to express our four safety target topics in the form of cultural arts.

About the project
The students will compete in the form of cultural arts to include (but not limited too) Art, Poetry, Rap and Music. The 4 target topics to express their creativity will be:
Surrounding Awareness. Watch who is trying to befriend you. Social Media & Video Game Caution and Identifying a Victim. The winners will be picked by a panel of students and staff.
The Steps
Once the funds are secured we will: Purchase the prizes, secure the caterer, purchase the marketing tools and start the marketing of the event.
Why we‘re doing it
Ohio is in the top 5 when it comes to human trafficking and child safety issues. We are doing this to bring awareness to our community as as well as teaching our children tools that might save their lives.
