I am writing and producing a play. I enjoy writing. My goal is to get actors and actresses together and rehearse to make the script come to life. This play is about homelessness. I will be demonstrating the various paths that lead to homelessness and the resources that people can use to get help if they have the knowledge. There's money for low income individuals, pantries, and different organizations that can lead people in the right direction. This is very important to me; people perish from the lack of knowledge.

why we're doing it

I'm writing this Play because I have a desire to help others. Seeing the homeless or someone in a crisis and being able to give information to help save someone's life, planting seeds through encouraging words, to lead someone to a pantry because they're tight on food, to help clothe someone that may just need a nice outfit for a interview. Whatever the need is, I'm doing this to help anyone that I can reach by simply writing plays and reaching souls!!!! 

Being a resident of Detroit all my life and having a Hair Salon, I've seen and heard so many stories. I have Ministered to many, and I am inspired by my very own life experiences: being a teenage mom, divorced parents, being raised in a single parent household, just life in general, and being unaware of homelessness until my late thirties and all the things that I didn't have knowledge of until later in life. I just have love and passion for the less fortunate and I AM A PRODUCT OF MY ENVIRONMENT!!!!!
