Make a Difference! We are bringing together thousands of people wanting to help, with an incredible need for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Join Us!
This project will focus on providing help for those impacted by Covid-19 in NYC! We have teamed up with organizations in the Lower East Side of Manhattan including homeless shelters, abuse shelters, and facilities serving low-income families. These include organizations like The Bowery Mission, among others, who help serve the 80,000 homeless in NYC. People are falling ill at unprecedented rates because they don’t have the Personal Protective Equipment they need. This is especially true in hospitals, senior centers, and homeless and abuse centers. We need to help stop the spread!
the steps
We'll start by getting our Assembly Kits to our vast PPE Volunteer Network. Once assembled, we'll send the PPE to our partner organizations in NYC. New volunteers are welcome to help! You can sign up at www.SOSforPPE.org/Make
We have a strong network of volunteers ready to step up and help make and assemble the needed PPE. These funds will go to purchase the necessary items to create more assembly kits and PPE for our wonderful volunteers. We kindly ask that you join us in supporting our dedicated caregivers and helping to stop the spread. A $50 gift supplies 100 face shields or will provide financial support so they can purchase essential food, medicines, and other supplies.

People and our caregivers are falling ill at unprecedented rates because they don’t have the Personal Protective Equipment they need. People should not have to choose between putting food on the table and protecting their families from the pandemic. You can help make a difference and reduce the spread!
