the project

We are fundraising to help people in Cuyahoga County as they attempt to recover their lives from the devastating effects of Covid-19.  We have a strong network of volunteers ready to step up and help make and assemble non-emergency PPE for foodbanks, low-income populations, senior centers and homeless/abuse shelters in Cuyahoga County. These funds will go to purchase materials to create more assembly kits for our volunteers and the finished PPE will be distributed by our partners in Cuyahoga County. Can we count on you to help?

the steps

Volunteers can sign-up at www.sosforppe.org/make to receive their FREE Assembly Kits!

Once we have the funding, we will order supplies and create the kits.  We'll distribute the assembly kits to our volunteers who make the PPE and then we'll donate it to those in need in Cleveland!

why we're doing it

Covid-19 has left a devastating impact.  Our food pantries have seen an increase of 5-500% in people needing food assistance.  In order to distribute food, though, our volunteers need PPE to protect themselves and those visiting the food pantry.  We'll also use this opportunity to provide PPE to those most impacted by the pandemic, with a focus on minority and low-income populations.
