I want to bring our community together by getting to know who we are. By creating large-scale photographs that will be installed in our public parks, I hope to encourage engagement and outdoor movement.

About the project

This is my love letter to home. Let me bring us together in one frame and show you what I see: a community, and celebrating our place in it.

I know our town just about as good as anyone. But sometimes you see something different after seeing it a 1000 times. And it is becoming more and more beautiful to me.

In a unprecedented time in our history, our community remains sturdy footing and we can make it stronger simply by seeing who makes it this way.

This project is meant to move us emotionally and physically. It is an outdoor public art installation, which will make it’s way around our city and county parks. And it will bring us face to face with our differences, our commonalities and remind us that we are all in this thing together.

This is my love letter to all of us, and it belongs to all of us.

Why we‘re doing it

This project was inspired by a desire to live better, together.

Of course, this vision has evolved into something more as we live through this time in history together.

The launch of this outdoor gallery installation will allow for healthy, socially distanced movement, serve to break down social barriers at a time when many are craving community and quite literally bring new faces into neighborhoods around town.

We live in a small town, affected by this pandemic just like nearly every community in our world, and this is a big way to show who we are: a diverse, caring, creative, friendly, changing, united people. (Your words, not mine).
