Parkside Plaza - Spring Fundraiser

On May 2, a new public plaza opened in Brooklyn -- Parkside Plaza! 

After fifty years of neglect, at last the corner of Parkside and Ocean Avenues has flowers, trees, tables, chairs and shade. 

What Parkside Plaza doesn’t have a secret benefactor.  The flowers and trees and table and chairs come from the generosity of neighbors like you. 

Please give what you can to keep this plaza beautiful for years to come.

It will take lots of work, in the years to come, to raise the money to keep Parkside Plaza looking as beautiful as it does today.  If you like what you see, please give!  The money we raise this month will help us pay for programming costs (like NYC permits, equipment rentals, and publicity materials) in the summer of 2015.

Everyone remembers what Parkside Plaza looked like before May 2, 2015; so please help us keep it looking like it has since May 2, 2015.  We want a lush, green community space, where everyone in the neighborhood can meet, hold events, and relax in the shade.  If you want that, too, then please chip in!
