About the project
Y'know the muddy trail that the kids use to explore the bank of the Wolf River? Mr Fletcher and Maria Montessori School (MMS) students have a vision to turn this into a boardwalk with an simple outdoor classroom space.
The Wolf River Harbor Boardwalk will be used by our children to study Wolf River ecology, exploring the beautiful natural environment adjacent to the school. It will also serve as a connection between the Amphitheatre and the Field, and connect MMS to the Harbortown Neighborhood. Open to the public, the Wolf River Harbor Boardwalk will be open to residents and visitors to Harbor Town.
This project is the Prebuild Phase of the MMS Boardwalk & Outdoor Classroom. The Prebuild phase include site prep and clean-up, and installation of footings. We will be fundraising for the Full Build of the Boardwalk later in Spring 2015.
$25 = ONE CONCRETE FOOTING for the prebuild! We need 48 of them. Help us get on solid ground by donating a footing!
