the project
The project aims to formalize and improve the existing path under the Metromover guideway, and provide elements to make it more welcoming. Add simple easy to maintain and pleasant landscaping.
the steps
Project design has already been completed. I have coordinated to have the City of Miami Capital Improvements implement the construction phase of the work. The project will formalize the pathway and landscape the site.
why we're doing it
The current site is blighted and unwelcoming. The opportunity to create a more welcoming space is low hanging fruit and will provide more opportunity to walk through the cut through comfortably.
It is also intended to be the first phase to a larger dog park project.
