My vision is to create awareness of wearing masks in the Fairfax neighborhood. My church where I was born and raised is on the corner of 79th and Quincy and while driving to church weekly I see many elderly and children without wearing masks. I am hoping that the fashion show with garments and matching masks will encourage people to be more aware, vigilant, and safe at the same time.
the steps
October 10, 2020, starting at Noon will be the fashion show. Because of social distancing there will be two showings 2 pm and 5pm. On the parking lot of Christian Hope Missionary Baptist Church.There will be vendors with Awareness T-shirts, pamphlets and a table to hand out free masks to the citizens of this underprivileged neighborhood. To spread awareness of the pandemic and the necessity of maintaining a healthy environment, reinforcing social distancing, and wearing masks for self protection
