We have a handful of upcoming highlight events occurring in Downtown Cleveland, including FRONT, the CAN Triennial, and the NIVA Conference - all of which are perfect opportunities to create high-visibility spaces throughout the downtown footprint to showcase Cleveland's amazing talent to both local and national/international visitors. We are also working with downtown partners to find stages and spaces that can be available for regular, everyday programming, to make street performance an integral part of the fabric of Cleveland life.

As those opportunities solidify, we would like to be able to provide a wider range of resources to enable greater accessibility to the art (and joy) of street performance. Sound systems, generators for locations without power, and other equipment will allow us to accommodate a greater variety of individuals and acts, making our programming truly all-inclusive.

We also are working to push other initiatives, like our in-store playlists, through revamped marketing campaigns. Funding will help us generate marketing materials to get local music into more everyday locations around town, and to connect with event organizers for live opportunities.
