We are delighted to announce the return of the Levitt AMP Berea Music Series! The 2021 concerts will take place between July and October featuring local, regional, and statewide Kentucky-based performers. While we are proud to support Kentucky bands returning to the stage, we take the responsibility of bringing live music back to our community very seriously. Two plans have been prepared for the 2021 season. Both take the health and readiness of our community into careful consideration.

Plan A is a mix of 10 Concerts. In-person events are planned for Berea City Park Expansion (aka Berea Skate Park). The grassy field will allow distancing space to create an optimal experience for guests, per state and local guidelines. Video live streaming and radio broadcasting will be available so folks don't have to gather in person to join in. There will also be two Pop-up Concerts to take live music to other areas in Berea. Together we will make it a great and safe experience for all!

The 2021 Levitt AMP Berea Music Series is presented by First Friday Berea in partnership with Mountain Association and supported by the City of Berea, Berea Parks & Rec, and the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation

why we're doing it

To bring people together! This FREE, accessible cultural programming creates community space that transcends socio-economic barriers. The arts help us connect with others and are necessary in recovery from this last year of social isolation.

To support local! These community building activities are an impetus for consumers who have been inside all year to get out to support local businesses. We book local/regional artists, hire local industry professionals, and provide space for local food and arts/crafts vendors.

To enliven Berea! The last 6 years of First Friday Berea/Levitt AMP Berea (45 evenings of free, live music) have helped revitalize the Old Town Artisan Village district, providing a family friendly entertainment and nightlife option for Berea’s residents and visitors. These events embody the inclusive community associated with our town, providing an authentic Berean experience.
