Our local police force and other Lancaster facilities downtown need to replace AED batteries and pads.  These products typically have a 2-4 year shelf life, and they have saved many lives.  In a vital situation, we want to make sure those AED's are ready to go.  Our townspeople know we are short on funds in many departments, specifically the Police and Fire.  Starting a crowd-funding campaign gives you the opportunity to support them and directly choose what projects to contribute toward.  It may seem small, but every little bit helps and shows that we care.  Please consider making a tax-deductible donation for new AED batteries and pads today. 

the steps

These funds will go directly toward the Lancaster Police Department to purchase the new AED supplies and cover the fees/costs for a civic crowd-funding campaign.  

why we're doing it

We have had many good public servants working to raise funds in various ways, but we are still falling short.  This year has been hard economically for many, but this year could also be the start of a new method for supporting our beautiful city of Lancaster, OH.  Civic Crowd-funding is a great way to contribute to various much-needed city initiatives.  You can choose directly what to support and reach a common goal together.  Not only do you reap the rewards of first-hand participation, but all contributions are tax-deductible.
