the project
For decades, Kraynick's has fixed up and given away kids bikes for Christmas in partnership with the Salvation Army.
Our community is all pitching in to keep the Christmas Bikes program going and expand it. Donations go directly to bikes, bike parts, tools, and distribution.
In 2016 we provided 220 bikes for children, and our peak year to date was 450 kids bikes donated. Help us keep it going!
This fundraiser is accounted for under ioby's nonprofit fiscal sponsorship because it is a community benefitting project.
All donations are tax deductible. You receive a tax deduction email from ioby when you donate.
the steps
We accept kids bikes donations all year and also purchase used kids bikes.
We purchase bike parts and tools to fix these bikes like new.
We deliver the bikes to the Salvation Army in December to give away to kids.
why we're doing it
We believe in the powerful role that Kraynick's Bike shop plays in our town as a community center for everyone to learn, teach, and serve each other’s wellbeing, on bikes and off.
We love the annual Christmas Bikes giveaway for local kids and we want to make sure it continues.
