the project
With this project, we will make an irrigation system by building a rain catchment unit. The rain catchment unit will be freestanding and will double as a gazebo for the garden. There are many benefits that the unit will bring to the garden. Some of the benefits being are: providing water to the garden beds, shaded seating area for our gardeners, and water for handwashing.
the steps
Once the money is raised, the team will begin immediate construction on the unit.
why we're doing it
We are very excited and eager to bring to the community a place where we can come together and meet for resources and educational workshops; grow herbs and vegetables for culinary, therapeutic, and medicinal benefits; and for just plain ole’ relaxation and entertainment.
