Our committee members are hosting "Just Another Day At The Park", as an intentional way of modeling community responsibility and leadership development, by having fun and enjoying a day at the park August 10, 2019. What we have witnessed in our spaces is that resources are limited, also that the laughter, excitement and joy has been replaced by trauma, violence and despair.
We are purposeful in creating an atmosphere where those in attendance are smiling from ear-to-ear and bursting at the seams with happiness. The money raised will cover the cost of the 56 passenger bus, the cost of admission in to the park, along with some snacks.

- Cost of transportation
- Cost of the tickets
- Cost of snacks
Raise the money necessary to cover total cost of the project
Establish a date to visit the park
Work with the committee to identify attendees
Share with participants the departure time from the starting point through the anticipated time of return
why we're doing it
Morale, anticipation and hope for something positive, for units of people to connect with and have enjoyment, are not easily and readily identified in most communities. Leadership is tasked with what to do, and how to leverage the resources to gain the most bang for the buck, or the greatest impact. But in neighborhoods like ours, people sometimes just want another fun day at the park, with great memories to last them for a while.
Through the partnership of crowdfunding organizations like IOBY, we can use shared thoughts, ideas and passions to match and make dreams come true. Or if nothing else, Just Anther Day At The Park.
