About the project
In an unprecedented partnership, coming at you straight from St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland Scribe Tribe, Ward 7 Councilman Basheer Jones, St. Clair Superior Development Corporation, and the MyCom youth development initiative is kicking off a campaign to raise funds for environmental murals across St. Clair Superior neighborhood and the rest of Ward 7.
Cleveland’s East Side is home to some of the most profound artists in the Midwest. And with the vibrant energy brought to Ward 7 with Councilman Jones’ recent election, and the youthful energy of St. Clair Superior’s MyCom program this campaign will jump start a Mural Campaign that will touch everyone on Cleveland’s near East Side.
Starting with the installation of a Mural on Case Elementary School’s playground (E. 41st Street and Superior Ave), painted by Cleveland Teenagers. This summer we're bringing more beautiful murals like this, to new locations that could benefit from a splash of color and creative design from the best minds in Cleveland!
