About the project
Indomitable Women of Incarcerated Men, Inc is developing a program for men with convictions in which the men will receive clinical interventions to decrease recidivism, improve family dynamics, and promote positive career decision making skills.
The Steps
Organization is identifying buildings/homes, in the Orange Mound community, within budget to purchase to as a training facility.
Why we‘re doing it
Men returning to the city with convictions is increasing. This population endures numerous environmental barriers. The project objectives are to decrease recidivism, promote positive family interactions, and assist the community with revitalization efforts.
