About the project
Heal-A -Preneur is a widespread movement to motivate small black business owners to acknowledge, process, and resolve their past traumas, simultaneously providing a financial roadmap to their business goals.
One of our 2021 projects, is to provide required training courses around mental and financial clarity during our annual Heal-A-Preneur Summit for entrepreneurs.
Through attendance of the required training at our summit, we will open opportunities to aid 17 business owners with mental health services and 12 business owners with startup grants to incorporate their business ideas.
We have been inspired by COVID-19 to begin this journey to educate and heal entrepreneurs by providing them resources, training, and aid to power forward during challenging times.
The Steps
June 2021-We will incorporate our organization
July 2021- We will initiate our 501C3 process
July 2021- We will initiate our Youth Entrepreneurship Program to continue to support minority small business owners as well provide mentorship/internship to college students
October 2021-We will host our 2nd Annual Virtual Summit in which entrepreneurs will be provided the required training to qualify for potential wellness aid.
Why we‘re doing it
This is one target program of a few that we are implementing, we understand this support is needed more than ever during COVID-19.
We understand as business owners how personal trauma and/or lack of financing may stop you from proceeding with your business or simply starting it.
The Minority Small Business Wellness Aid was created with the intention to train, provide resources, and support business owners whom need both mental and financial support.
