Hair With Purpose Project

While working toward buiding my company, www.fvconciergeonly.com, my goal is to begin giving back through "Hair With Purpose Project" from the beginning.  My long term goal is to build a safe house in my birth city, Guayaquil,  Ecuador, for at risk and homeless LGBT youth.  My shorter term goal is to raise funds on ioby to support similar projects in New Yok City.  

Eventually I would like to get more hairdressers involved in order to raise more funds and awareness for the ongoing issues that LGBT youth face like statisically high rates of poverty, homelessness, drug abuse and suicide.

My project is to do ongoing fundraising to support at-risk LGBT youth in New York City.

Funds will be raised from the sales of hair accessories, as well as events and appearances.

In the future, I will be hosting parties and seeking out more collaborations to continue my fundraising efforts.

I am doing this because as a gay man growing up in Guayaquil, Ecuador and living in New York City, I recognise the need for the ongoing support of LGBT youth.  This community is at risk for bullying, drug abuse, homeless, and poverty and I would like "Hair With Purpose Project" to help address these needs.
