We are already reaching out to New London families to see how we can best get FRESH food to everyone we can. Folks can let us know what works best - a raised bed garden at home, less permanent container gardens to grow veggies, a set of tools to help you continue to grow at your local community garden and/or some tips and support to grow your own food for the first time. (For those who don't grow their own food, we also options to get FRESH grown food- like a membership for a weekly box of FRESH produce.) 

After we know what people want, we will get building and growing. We will build, deliver, and fill raised bed gardens. Mix up our own organic potting soil and deliver pots with season vegetable plants or seeds. And continue to grow seedlings at our main garden and get them out into the community. 

In the meantime, we are collecting a list of experienced gardeners who are willing to help coach new gardeners and putting together simple resources to pass along. Through video, Zoom, and simple phone calls, we will make sure people have all the information they need to grow their own food. 

Please note, our priority for these resources is low-income families and those impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic in New London.
