About the project
We will have many experts and tablers on hand to give attendees info and tips on how to be green, conserve and reduce to be more environmentally responsible.
The Steps
Workshops covering things like composting, tree planting and pruning, bioswales, educational short movies and over 50 groups with tables to give attendees info on solar energy, saving water etc to give all a jump start on their way to going green.
Why we‘re doing it
Going Green in Queens 2011 is an annual greening,networking and educational conference open free to the general public. We will motivate and educate people on how to be green in all aspects of our daily lives.
