The consistent mission of I Rise is to unveil the indomitable characteristics possessed by all youth regardless of their socio-economic status. This year's I Rise Youth Leadership program will take place in the Garden Valley neighborhood. Youth from the community will gather to create and install an awe inspiring mural inside of the Neighborhood House. Residents and visitors alike will enjoy a meaningful message that connects the history of the community to the future.

Our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who believed in this project enough to help us cross this funding goal line. We are eager for our youth to begin installation of this meaningful piece. I Rise is a program designed to highlight the indomitable greatness that exist in our youth and their power to change their communities one project at a time. The mural will be evidence of their desire for more, in the own lives, their families, and community as a whole.
