Froggy Park Mural

Friends of Thomas J Cuite Park is creating a mural for Froggy Park!  Brooklyn based artist, Jaima has started the first phase of the mural but in order to complete the mural, we need your help! Our hope is that the colorful, bold art will bolster a sense of community spirit, inclusivity and a love for nature. The mural’s positive themes is intended to visually activate the southside of the park and lead to continued interest in improving the park.

- Purchase any remaining needed supplies (10/1-10/2)

- Prepare for the final portion of the wall mural (10/3-10/7)

- Complete the wall mural (10/8-10/15)

We believe that the best way to celebrate Froggy Park is to take care of it and continually make improvements for all to enjoy. Our hope is that the proposed mural will be a visual anchor that will help beautify the park and engage the community. We've seen the park used as a space to have family meals, birthday parties, school recess and especially during the pandemic, as a place to relax and be calm. People from all walks of life come to the park to have fun, hang with their dogs or simply soak in the sun. We want the mural to celebrate this community and to acknowledge Froggy Park's small but important contribution to the neighborhood!
