Food To The People is a direct response to our community affected by Covid-19's devastating toll on an already unjust food system. We aim to provide food assistance to those who cannot afford it. We will also empower and educate people with the tools and knowledge to grow their own food and gain self-sustainability. 

the steps

Purchase supplies for growing food at home

Partner with Mutual Aid and other community organizations to distribute meals

Rent trucks or vans to make deliveries

Perform surveys within the community to identify ongoing needs

why we're doing it

Food To The People will connect neighbors through collective resilience. Providing meals will help alleviate the large economic burden that many are facing. Getting people to start growing their own food will create a deeper appreciation for the earth and have long lasting positive effects.
