Fight for Drivers Licenses Training Drive
We are working to send 5 community members to an intensive week-long organizing training where we will gain the skills to learn how to move our legislative campagin forward in Pennsylvania.

About the project
The Fight for Drivers Licenses is a network of families across Pennsylvania who are working to change the vehicle code to allow all families a right to a drivers license and valid ID, regardless of immigration status. Today a drivers license is essential for everyday tasks like getting to work, taking children to school or the doctor and renting a home. Before 2002, all families in our state were able to access this fundamental need and we are working so that all families in Pennsylvania can live with dignity and meet their basic needs.
The Steps
Members have already taken time from work and are now working to collect the needed funds to pay for the training registration.
Why we‘re doing it
Undocumented families are integral parts of our communities across Pennsylvania and as we build this network we are fighting not only for a drivers license, but for our families to be recognized and treated with dignity in our state.
