The garden will serve as an outlet for exerting their physical strength in soil preparation, weeding, harvesting, and help bridge the generational gap between the students and the adult residents in the community.

  1. Trees, stumps and weeds removed 
  2. Permanent Garden Sign, Message Center
  3. Garden Arbor
  4. Game Tables, dining table/ seating (benches)
  5. ADA Walk Way
  6. Street Art
  7. Raised beds (2)  (24” or 36” high
  8. Garden Inspiration signs (ex. Grow It, eat it,  Educate, RRR’)
  9. Mosaic Planting beds/boxes
  10. Bleachers

why we're doing it

Healthy food and healthy living is what we want to share by teaching others.

1. Landscaper/Contractor labor costs (demolish/level the ground surface to make it accessible to all individuals): $1,000

2. garden – soil (two raised beds) and pea gravel (walking paths)

2) gathering space install seating, tables,,art/street paint, and; eco-friendly ground materials such as grinded granite, soil, flowers/plants, solar string lighting, stone, large chalkboard): $3,500

3).Site signage (enclosed information kiosk and Garden name sign): $500
